10 Lektionen in dieser Stufe

  1. Text on a 16x2 Character LCD with an I2C Backpack
Drive a character display and manage the 5 V logic it needs. · Lab: Show two lines of sensor data on the LCD through a level converter.
  2. Drawing on an SSD1306 OLED with luma.oled and Pillow
Render text and shapes into an image and push it to the display. · Lab: Draw a frame, a title and a live temperature on the OLED.
  3. Fonts, Icons and Layout on Tiny Screens
Lay out readable screens with TrueType fonts and bitmap icons. · Lab: Design a three-zone screen with an icon, a big value and a status line.
  4. Colour Graphics on an SPI TFT
Drive an ST7789 panel and balance SPI speed against frame rate. · Lab: Display a colour gauge and measure frames per second at two SPI speeds.
  5. Low-Power Signage with an E-Paper Display
Use full and partial refresh and respect refresh limits. · Lab: Show a daily summary that updates every ten minutes and stays visible with power removed.
  6. Navigating Menus with a Rotary Encoder
Read quadrature rotation and a push switch to move through a menu. · Lab: Build a three-item menu on the OLED controlled by RotaryEncoder.
  7. Addressable RGB LED Strips Driven over SPI
Drive WS2812-type LEDs from a Pi 4 or Pi 5 using the SPI data pin. · Lab: Power a 30-LED strip from its own 5 V supply and show a level meter on it.
  8. Desktop-Style Interfaces with guizero
Build a windowed control panel with buttons, sliders and text. · Lab: Make a window with a brightness slider for an LED and a live sensor label.
  9. Connecting a DSI Touch Display
Attach a touch display and set orientation and brightness. · Lab: Connect a DSI display, rotate it for your enclosure and test touch input.
  10. Full-Screen Kiosk Mode on Wayland
Boot straight into one full-screen application with no desktop visible. · Lab: Autostart a browser in kiosk mode showing a local page and hide the cursor.

Abschlussprojekt
